Urgent Treatment &
Out of Hours

Urgent treatment means treatment that the dentist thinks is necessary to relieve severe pain or prevent your oral condition deteriorating before you can make a normal appointment

Urgent Treatments Include:

Pain that has occurred during the last 24 hours and cannot be controlled by painkillers

Swelling that has occurred during the past 24 hours

Trauma to teeth and jaws following an accident

Haemorrhage - bleeding gums following an extraction

We also offer a small number of appointments during practice opening hours for those patients that need urgent treatment, but don't have an appointment. If you think you need urgent treatment then you can contact the practice on 01652 653163 during opening hours.

If you need urgent treatment for weekends and bank holidays which cannot wait until the practice opens please ring NHS 111, listen to the menu and select the “dental” option.
